Local features and Pro

Local BYOK features and user-created projects remain accessible after a subscription expires. During an active billing period, Pro provides managed analysis and generation without a user API key, removes advertising, and provides new Scalar Story Harness work contracts.

Usage and billing

Each Pro billing period includes up to one million changed source characters and 100,000 generated characters. An add-on provides another 100,000 generated characters for the current period and cannot be rolled over, transferred, or redeemed for cash. Apple processes iOS purchases and Lemon Squeezy processes web purchases.

User responsibility and rights

Users may import only material they have the right to process. Personal use does not broadly waive derivative-work rights. Before publishing, selling, or distributing results, users must confirm the required rights and review AI output and canon decisions.

Limits of provenance records

Receipts, signatures, timestamps, and copy IDs are supporting records for integrity, issue time, production history, and distribution paths. Alone they do not prove authorship, copyright ownership, permission to use source material, or the identity of a person who leaked a copy.
